CSM JOSEPH SINGERHOUSE

CSM Joseph Singerhouse is the Battalion Command Sergeant Major for 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.

Before becoming the 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiments Command Sergeant Major he was the Brigade Operations Sergeant Major for 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st ABN Division (Air Assault)

Since entering the Active Army in October of 1991, he has served in a number of assignments starting with 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Fort Kobbe, Panama; 3rd Battalion, 325th Airborne Battalion Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy; 1st Battalion, 508th Airborne Battalion Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy; 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, Fort Bragg, NC; 2nd Battalion, 47th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, GA; 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, Schweinfurt, Germany; 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, Fort Bragg, NC; United States Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, TX; 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY.

His military education includes: U. S. Army Airborne School; Air Assault School; Ranger School; Pathfinder Course; Dragon Gunners School; Javelin Gunners School; Master Fitness Course; Drill Sergeant Course; Primary, Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Course; Jumpmaster School and the Mechanized Leaders Course. He is a graduate of the U. S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Class 60. He also has a associates of liberal arts from Excelsior University. Command Sergeant Major Singerhouse is a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

Command Sergeant Major Singerhouse has served in numerous Leadership positions, ranging from Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant to Command Sergeant Major.

His awards include the Bronze Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters; Meritorious Service Medal with Three Oak Leaf Clusters; Army Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters; Army Achievement Medal with Ten Oak Leaf Clusters; Good Conduct Medal (six); Armed Forced Expeditionary Medal; Iraqi Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals; Army Superior Unit Award; Meritorious Unit Citation; National Defense Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters; Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters; Overseas Service Ribbon (five); Master Parachutist Badge; Drill Sergeant Badge; Combat Infantryman's Badge; Pathfinder Badge; Air Assault Badge; Ranger Tab and the Expert Infantryman's Badge.
