The Department of the Army Police consists of a police force of federal law enforcement officers. DA Police Officers work in various capacities throughout the organization and are instrumental in the policing, security and force protection of Fort Polk. |
The Department of the Army Police are trained to provide a professional, highly trained, and motivated, civilian police force in support of the Directorate of Emergency Services' law enforcement mission and contingency operations. The DA Police officers are assigned to every section of the Provost Marshal Office and work side by side with Military Police Soldiers to support the installation. |
