In/Out Processing Center
Mission: To provide quality
personnel services to military personnel (Active/Reserve/ National
Guard), retirees, family members, DoD civilians, and eligible
contractors in the areas of replacement operations,
in/out-processing, transition and retirement services, compassionate
reassignment/hardship discharge request processing, military
awards/decorations, ID cards/tags and DEERS enrollment, the deposit
waiver program, and the installation School of Standards program.
We provide the following support to the Fort Polk
Community:
Replacement operations, In/Out-Processing, transition and

request processing, military awards/decorations, ID cards/tags and
DEERs enrollment, the deposit waiver program, and the installation
school of standards program.
Additional Information:
If you are on orders for Fort Polk and plan on flying to the
area, book your flight to the Alexandria International Airport in
Alexandria, LA. There you will find a Fort Polk welcome display
(near the baggage area) with the taxi phone
number. Simply call the
taxi for transportation to post (no fee is charged if you have a
copy of your assignment orders). If you arrive on post Monday thru
Friday between 0700 and 1600, report to Bldg. 1830 (Consolidated
In/Out-Processing Center), on the corner of Alabama Avenue and 14th
Street. If you arrive on a non-duty day or after hours, report to
the Magnolia Guest House (Bldg. 522) on Utah Street.
If you have an emergency and need your leave extended, call the
NCOIC at 337.531.6119 during duty hours or the FOD at 337.531.1726.
If you plan on bringing your family with you initially, it is
suggested that you contact the relocation specialist at the housing
office 337.537.5000 to check on availability. Housing may not be
available for some time after arrival and you may need to make other
plans.
