IMPACT TO FORT POLK:

EMPLOYEES:
Fort Polk has returned to normal operations. All personnel regualarly scheduled to work should report to duty at their normal time.

ON POST SHELTERS: Shelters will close at 6 p.m. today.

MWR FACILITIES:
All facilities will resume normal operating hours today.

PX/COMMISSARY:
All facilities will resume normal operating hours today.

BJACH: The hospital has resumed normal weekend operations, but is prepared to surge in support of storm-related events. The ER is open for all medical emergencies and inpatient and Labor and Delivery services are operating normally. BJACH expects normal weekday operations Monday. The ground patient shuttle for patients traveling to San Antonio will resume today, as scheduled, using a route that avoids Houston.

PICERNE MILITARY HOUSING: Neighborhood clean up begins today. Clean up will continue throughout the week. Neighborhood offices open standard Sunday hours from 1-5 p.m. Standard trash pick up resumes Monday, Sept. 15.

SCHOOL INFORMATION:
Vernon Parish schools resume as usual Monday, Sept. 15. Five-day schools in Beauregard Parish will be open Monday; four-day schools will not be open. Please check the School Information links, Beauregard Parish Schools, and listen to your local radio stations for school related announcements.
