Mr. Randall D. Corbin
Deputy to the Garrison Commander

Mr. Corbin entered Government Service in October, 2005 as the Deputy to the Garrison Commander at FT Polk, Louisiana.  He departed FT Polk in April, 2008 for an overseas tour and served as Deputy to the Garrison Commander at USAG Grafenwoehr, Germany until February, 2011. Mr Corbin then returned to FT Polk and resumed duties as Deputy to the Garrison Commander.


He is a native of Georgia and was commissioned through ROTC at The Citadel, graduating in May 1976, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He entered active duty at Fort Benning, Georgia, in January 1977, and retired in August 2004, with over 27 years of service in the United States Army. His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Combined Arms Service Staff School, Command and General Staff College and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit with one Oak Leaf cluster; Meritorious Service Medal with seven Oak Leaf clusters; Army Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf clusters; Southwest Asia Service Medal; Parachutist Badge; Army Staff Identification Badge and Kuwait Liberation Medal.
