We provide the following support to the Fort Polk community, in the way of sponsorship:  
Initial letter welcoming Officers to post, containing a point of contact, as well as unit of assignment.  Individual units will provide follow-on details and unit specific information, along with a unit sponsor and contact information.

Good things to know:  Officer assignments are dictated both by branch and by the installation strength manager.  If orders state that you are on a pinpoint assignment, those assignments are rarely changed.  Pinpoint orders will be honored, and branch managers will soon cut pinpoint RFOs to 4/10th Mountain Division, a lifecycle manned unit.   The unit point of contact is the BDE S1, at DSN 863.0526.

Oher major subordinate commands (MSC) at Fort Polk are the Warrior Brigade, and the Operations Group.   If your orders take you to one of those MSCs or a subordinate unit, your points of contact are as follows:
