Task Force Senior's Message

Welcome to the JRTC Fire Support Division FKN Homepage. Our Mission is to assist deploying unit commanders and fire supporters at all levels in preparing their units for combat in the complex environments they will face in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our motto is "Mentor, Coach, Teach" and we apply ourselves in assisting units in that order. Our combat experienced OCT team has recent, and often repetitive experience as leaders of Field Artillery units and Fire Support Elements performing the full spectrum of standard and non-standard mission sets required of artillerymen in operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. We are prepared to assist unit training across that spectrum.

In support of our mission, we hope to assist units prior to their MREs, and once deployed, by maintaining a database of current TTPs, example products, and links to current doctrine and a POC list for use here at JRTC. The files are located at the AKO FKN site.
