Boat Launch Fee (Jul 08): Customer wanted to know why active duty Soldiers had to pay a $3 launch fee at the MWR sponsored facility-Toledo Bend Recreation Site. |
By early August, active duty Soldiers were not required to pay a $3 launch fee at the Toledo Bend Recreation Site. |

Menus On Line (Jul 08) An anonymous customer suggested that DFMWR post the menus of the various eateries on Fort Polk to the Fort Polk website. |
Fort Polk’s two main eateries: Mulligan's and the Strike Zone have their menus posted on the Fort Polk web site. |

Lodging Priorities (Sep 08): A redeploying Soldier asked why JRTC rotational personnel took priority over Soldiers returning from 15 months in Iraq at the lodging facilities on post.

The Commanding General agreed redeploying Fort Polk Soldiers should have priority over JRTC rotational personnel at Fort Polk lodging facilities.

Catfish Cove Playground (Oct 08): A concerned parent requested the safety plastic on the swings be replaced as well as a swing be lowered so a toddler could try and swing themselves. |
DFWMR replaced all the safety plastic on the swings and replaced the seats as well. They also lowered a swing so a toddler could try to swing on their own. |

Diaper Changing Stations (Oct 08): A mother took her children to a show at Fort Polk’s Showboat Theatre and was frustrated there were no diaper changing stations in the restrooms. |
Diaper changing stations have been installed in the Showboat Theatre’s restrooms. |
