DIRECTORATE OF LOGISTICS PERSONAL PROPERTY SECTION - HOUSEHOLD GOODS (OPERATED BY AECOM) INFORMATION:  LOCATED IN BUILDING 4374

 INBOUND PERSONAL PROPERTY INFORMATION:

All newly assigned personnel arriving Fort Polk , expecting inbound personal property should immediately contact, either in person or telephonically, the inbound personal property section.  Provide them your unit of assignment and a duty phone number, and any other phone numbers where you can be contacted when your personal property arrives.  This will help preclude having to place your property in temporary storage if you already have a delivery address.

Personnel who accomplish a Do It Yourself (DITY) move must process their packets through the personal property section.  Immediate processing will expedite any DITY payments due.

Normal delivery time for personal property placed in temporary storage is 5 to 7 working days.  However, during peak season (May - Sep) delivery time could be as high as 14 working days.

OUTBOUND (DEPARTING) PERSONAL PROPERTY INFORMATION:

Immediately upon receipt of orders, contact outbound personal property section to make an appointment for briefing.  After briefing, normal pick up time is 7 - 10 working days.  During peak season (May - Sep) this could expand to 10 - 14 working days.  On day of personal property pick up, quarters must be clean and free of insects.  Also, focus should be on moving.

Outbound personal property phone numbers:  531-2277 or 2052

The Directorate of Logistics Transportation Division provides quality assurance inspectors for routine inspection of personal property being delivered or packed/picked up.  If any problems arise or if you have questions, contact the quality assurance inspectors at phone:  531-2065 or 1404 0r 2282.
