Community Relations Community Relations at the JRTC and Fort Polk is committed to facilitating a posit ive relationship with our neighboring communities. We ARE the “best hometown in the Army” through our relationships between Soldiers, Families, and our local communities. We are all serving our nation together. Through events and relationships with a wide spectrum of organizations, we commun icate the Soldier story via a variety of mediums and bring our communities closer to the Soldiers that serve them. Our mission is clear - we connect our co mmunities with the ir Army, communicate key themes and messages and educate the public on current and relevant Fort Polk and Army issues. In addition, community relations also processes and attempts to resolve all low flying aircraft and maneuver damage complaints. Request support for a community event
